Many Lotus Notes enterprises that have adopted Microsoft SharePoint are looking for cost-effective strategies to promote mainstream user adoption of corporate-sanctioned team sites. In this session, we will discuss software coexistence, a proven strategy for promoting SharePoint adoption at a fraction of the cost of your SharePoint infrastructure. We’ll discuss common use cases for integrating SharePoint with Lotus Notes and Lotus Sametime, as well as how to measure the impact that Lotus Notes-SharePoint integration has on SharePoint adoption and use. We will also demo Mainsoft’s integration software, which enables users to access and publish Lotus Notes emails and attachments on SharePoint from a Lotus Notes sidebar as well as manage SharePoint team events from the Lotus Notes 8.5 calendar view.
