Openbaar vervoer: Trein, Tram en Bus

Per trein: NS-station Amsterdam RAI is ideaal gelegen op slechts 300 meter van de RAI en heeft regelmatig verbinding met station Amsterdam-Duivendrecht, station Amsterdam-Amstel en station Schiphol, die zijn aangesloten op het internationale intercitynet.

Vanaf Amsterdam centrum en/of Amsterdam Centraal Station: Iedere tien minuten onderhoudt tram 4 van Amsterdam een dienst tussen het centrum van Amsterdam, Amsterdam CS, en de RAI (halte Europaplein). Vanaf NS-station Amsterdam Amstel kunt u de RAI het beste bereiken via metrolijn 51 of bus 15. Metrolijn 51 heeft tevens verbinding met Amsterdam Centraal Station. Vanaf Amsterdam Sloterdijk kunt u de RAI het beste bereiken via sneltram 50.

Auto of Motor

Direct bij het naderen van Amsterdam via de autosnelweg A1 (Amersfoort/Amsterdam), A2 (Utrecht/Amsterdam) of A4 (Den Haag/Amsterdam) is op de ringweg rond de hoofdstad (A10) de RAI aangegeven op de ANWB-borden, die de route aangeven naar de RAI parkeergarages. De RAI ligt direct aan de ringweg (afslag S 109).

Ingangen & Parkeergarages: Parkeergarage P1 ligt direct onder het LUG2009-congres. Ook de P2 is zeer dichtbij.
Voor parkeren in de RAI-garages en op de terreinen rond het RAI-gebouw koopt u via een van de automaten in de garage of op het parkeerterrein of aan de entree kassa een uitrijkaart. De parkeergarages sluiten twee uur na de officiële sluitingstijd van het evenement.

Public transport: Train, Tram, or Bus

By train: Railway Station Amsterdam RAI is on very short walking distance to the RAI: only 300 meters. There are regular connections between RAI and the railway stations 'Amsterdam-Duivendrecht', 'Amsterdam-Amstel' and 'Schiphol' (airport), all connected to the international intercity railway network.

From Schiphol Amsterdam Airport: Take the train. There is a short and direct connection to railway station 'Amsterdam-RAI', from where it is an easy 300-meter walk (fastest and cheapest connection). The train takes 12 minutes and 2.60 euros for a single trip. Frequency: around every 15 min back and forth.

From Amsterdam city centre and/or Amsterdam railway 'Central Station': There is a connection by tram (line 4) that runs every 10 minutes between Amsterdam city centre and RAI (stop 'Europaplein'). From Railway station 'Amsterdam Amstel' you should take metro(subway) line 51 of bus 15. Metrol 51 also has connections to Amsterdam Centraal Station. From railway station 'Amsterdam Sloterdijk', you can RAI best by fast tram 50.

Nearest airport: 'Amsterdam Airport Schiphol'

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has the best connection to the RAI Congress Centre. A direct train goes to Station Amsterdam-RAI at least every 15 minutes. It takes 12 minutes and 2.60 euros for a single trip.

Car or Motor

When you are nearing Amsterdam via highways A1, A2, or A4, you will reach the Amsterdam RING (A10). From the A10 (the Ring) the RAI is mentioned several times on. For the RAI, take exit S 109. All signs point you to the RAI parkings.

Entrance and parkings: Parking P1 is immediately under the LUG2009 Conference. The P2 is also very near. Other parkings ask for a bit of a walk.
To exit the RAI parkings, you need to buy a ticket at one of the machines, in the conference area or in the garage, or at the reception desk. Parkings close 2 hours twee after the official closing time of the event.
